Working for Opus LGSS
We are proud to be providing temporary workers to Cambridgeshire County Council and we believe that both our staff and our workers are making a real difference to the organisation on a day to day basis. Don’t just take our word for it:
“Since Opus took over as the Cambridgeshire County Council temporary worker provider in January 2017, I have seen a huge improvement in the way my temporary worker requests are handled and also the way my temporary staff are looked after. This is largely down to having the Opus team based onsite.
It is very refreshing to have a presence in the Shire Hall headquarters, just a short walk from my office. This is something we have severely lacked previously and the fact that we have the team onsite helps in a number of ways. I know that I can meet Opus staff on any day, if I need to discuss new placements, problems with the online systems or general operational issues. My team members (at least eight of them since January) who were placed by Opus feel confident that they’ll be able to get any help they need, as we have the agency represented in our offices. They know that they can talk face to face with Opus staff at any time during the week.
The team, who are based at Shire Hall, are helpful, cheery and super-efficient. In addition, your staff based at other offices have been a great help with searches for workers and the administration that goes around it.”
