About the job:

We are seeking an experienced and efficient Business Support Officer based at Signet Court, Cambridge to support Cambridgeshire County Council’s Adults and Safeguarding Service.

This is a varied and interesting role and you will provide and own administrative support within the service and across the organisation where required.  You will contribute to the effective running of the office, setting up and maintaining systems and processes.  You will support an liaise with customers on behalf of the service in relation to service delivery or financial expenditures.

This is a temporary job for an initial three months.

  • Business Delivery/Team Support – undertake daily activities as required by the service, support changes that impact on the business support workforce, ensure an accurate, confidential and effective service by maintaining systems in accordance with the policies and procedures of the county council.
  • Customer Service – proactively deal with staff, families and professionals, providing solutions or signposting to provide information, advice or support as required
  • Financial Support – experience of using spreadsheets to carryout/support relevant financial activities within the service area, reconcile spends against expenditure, contribute ideas and efficiencies to deliver savings.

A demonstrable experience of working in a business support environment with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are required for this role.
