About the job

Opus LGSS are seeking a Desktop Analyst to the support the Desktop Support team of all desktop equipment to offices of CCC in line with the Operational Services SLA targets and commitments, CCC operating policies and CCC IT policies.

This customer facing support role has been created across an 8 week duration, to support with replacing and connecting approximately 500 docking stations with hardware, across multiple sites.

At least two years experience of supporting customers in the use of Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft XP operating system, Microsoft Office (e.g. word processors, spreadsheets, etc) and Microsoft Outlook email applications

  • Good interpersonal skills and experience of client/user contact in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to communicate instructions clearly and patiently to users face to face, over the telephone and by e-mail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
  • Broad general knowledge of IT concepts and practices, current technologies and trends.
  • Ability to be flexible and prepared to exercise initiative in the execution of their duties
  • the post holder will have to lift/move PCs, monitors, printers etc.
  • Must have a clean full driving license, a flexible attitude to working service hours (8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday & 8:00am to 4:30pm Fridays)
  • Holiday entitlement of up to 31 days per annum, pro
    rata (including bank holidays)
