About the Job:

Opus LGSS are exclusively recruiting for an Finance Support Officer (until 30th November 2019) on behalf of public sector organisation in Norwich.

As Finance Support Officer, you will be working as part of a wider team, to deliver a high level of service in financial management. You will be inputting, extracting and monitoring financial information with excellent attention to detail, in order to deliver and advise budget holders within the organisation. You will be corresponding with managers on a regular basis and offering your expertise where necessary.

This is a full time, fixed term, up until 30th November 2019 to cover secondment. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, supportive and hardworking team based in Norwich.   •  Advanced level of experience in Excel
  • Extensive relevant experience or AAT qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent qualification
  •  Evidence of commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Demonstrable experience of analysing and interpreting a range of financial information
  •  Demonstrable experience of providing financial support in an environment of change
  • The ability to analyse and interpret financial information and make appropriate recommendations
  • The ability to contribute to financial projections and budgeting.
  •  Demonstrable experience of entry to, interrogation of, and reporting from computer accounting systems either standalone or mainframe.
  •  Experience of maintaining strong working relationships
  •  Experience of working to a range of financial procedures
