About the job:

We are looking for a Personal Assistant who will be providing high level of flexible executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive, Directors and Assistant Directors as part of the Executive Support Team to be based at One Angel Square.

This role is for an initial three months with the possibility for extension.

  • Act as the first point of contact to maintain realistic and manageable diaries and appointments ensuring that appropriate control and access to the manager’s time and diary is provided to assist them in making best use of their time.
  • Be the first point of contact to receive, sort and prioritise mail, and emails, redirecting as appropriate and responding to all routine correspondence without direction. To escalate correspondence where necessary ensuring that all correspondence is responded to appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Support meetings by attending and taking minutes ensuring all aspects of the meetings/conferences are organised, agendas developed and minutes distributed and prompt action taken maintaining timely responses to deadlines at all times.
  • Remain conversant with worlkoads for Senior Management in order to assist with management of workload and field enquires from all aspects that the manager deals with including service issues and general enquiries.
  • Liaise with members of the public and elected Members on behalf of the Senior Management Team to support the appropriate work and responses to actions generated from elected Member and general enquiries are completed in expected timelines.
  • Undertake tasks for the corporate centre, project work and research, maintaining databases and filing systems as directed with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support across team in completing general administrative duties to providing a comprehensive service to the Chief Executive and the Senior Management team, the leader and the cabinet.

  • Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons, and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the department.

  •  Holiday entitlement of up to 31 days per annum, pro rata (including bank holidays).
